ONCE CAMP OPENS FOR THE SEASON reservations can be made by calling (570) 756-2007 after 10 a.m. You may call any day except Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, very busy customer-service days at camp.
IMPORTANT: No reservations can be made in person until camp opens.
Once you have made your reservations, immediately mail your deposit to:

IMPORTANT: WE DO NOT OVERBOOK SITES for any weekend. Because of this policy you may find that not all sites are being used on Friday and/or Saturday nights. The reason for this is that the person booking the site did not show up and did not notify the office that they wanted to cancel their reservation. We hold the site for them and cannot rent them out to another camper.
You might call late Friday or after 10 a.m. Saturday to see if any sites have been released. If they have the staff will be happy to put you on a site that isn't being used.
When the staff tells you the camp is sold out and you visit and find unused sites that means the person(s) renting the sites did not show up and did not cancel or canceled too late to have campers on those sites. We're sorry that happens but there is nothing we can do about it. We will not overbook a weekend then turn away someone who has a confirmed reservation. That would not be fair to anyone.

Please read below for reservations
ENJOY AN IN-GROUND heated pool beginning Memorial Day weekend through at least Labor Day weekend. The pool will be open earlier and later if weather permits.
RESERVATIONS ARE TAKEN only by line telephone or in person if you are camping at Hillside.
Please do not make reservations using a cell phone.
For reservations after camp opens call the camp's number at (570) 756-2007 after 10 a.m.any day but Fridays.
No camp reservations can be made in person until the camp opens.
During the season, telephone reservations are taken beginning at 10 a.m. (Eastern time) until late day Mondays through Thursdays.
Phone reservations will not be accepted on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays during the season, very busy camping days. This is done so we may better serve the men who camp on busy weekends.
Before you call, please verify dates with others who plan to camp on the same site. Once you have definite commitments from the others, call in your reservation giving the names of all people on your site.
TO SECURE YOUR RESERVATION a deposit check must be promptly mailed to Hillside Campgrounds, P.O. Box 726, Binghamton, NY 13902.
Although deposits should be made by check, checks are not accepted at the time of check-in.
All campers must register at the office before entering camp! Please notify the office of cancellations quickly. Anyone who is a “no-show” without advance notice will find future reservations refused.
Deposits are normally non-refundable; however, if you cancel a reservation early enough it may be possible to use the credit for another time as long as we have sites available. Remember you can substitute people as long as you let the office staff know who cannot make it and who will be taking his place.
Your help and understanding of our reservation and deposit policy is greatly appreciated. Feel free to arrange for your own replacements and your deposit may be used for that group on the same site for the same dates. Once a replacement is found contact the office to change the names on the reservation. That way you can get your deposit refund from those who will be using the site. Because of the number of number of campers we have each summer we do not have the time to find replacements for you.
If you cannot get the weekends you want you might call back just before the day or days you want to visit. We do have cancellations so a site might be available at the last minute. Remember people do have to cancel so sites may open up but there is no way of knowing when a cancellation is going to be made. It goes without saying that holiday weekends are very popular as are some theme weekends including Illumination weekend. Again call the camp if you couldn't get the weekend you wanted. Changes may take place every week so you may get lucky.
We'll do our best to help you but please understand that it may not possible to keep up with changes made to a reservation on the day people are to arrive. Please plan ahead, if possible.

Please DO NOT use cell phones to make reservations. (If you do you may be cut off and loose your place in line! Also there is a problem of hearing what the caller is saying with some cell phones. Play it safe and use a land-line phone.)
If the phone is busy keep trying. We will take the next call as quickly as possible. You can help by making sure you have your dates (beginning on a Friday if the reservation is for a weekend) and the names of all people in your party.
Please NO RESERVATION CALLS on Fridaysonce camp opens since this is a busy check-in day for campers. NO MAIL IN RESERVATIONS can be accepted. Reservations can only be taken by telephone or in person if you are at camp.
The wait will be worth it, so don’t give up. We’ll work as quickly as possible. Our goal is to serve you. We appreciate your understanding.
