WE MUST LIVE BY FEW RULES
HILLSIDE IS A PLACE TO BE YOURSELF. FOR THE SCHEDULE CLICK ON THE ABOVE FLAG.
WE DON'T LIKE RULES just like most of you but there are some policies we must abide by if we expect to enjoy our stay at Hillside Campgrounds.

With more than 1,000 visitors at camp on busy weekends it is obvious that some guidelines must be enforced in an effort to make everyone's experience a rewarding and enjoyable one.

With everyone's help we will be able to enjoy the beauty we have created and enjoy the friendships we've developed.

The general philosophy of Hillside Campgrounds is that inside our gate camp members can be themselves without the pressures we feel outside the gate. With this in mind, it is necessary all camp members be considerate of each other. We want your home away from home to be pleasant for all, thus we ask everyone to follow a few important rules.

NO ILLEGAL DRUGS AT HILLSIDE!
• Membership is open to males who are at least 21 years old.
• No sexual activity in or around the pool area. Those using the pool must shower before entering the water.
• Failure to follow pool rules will result in a Hillsider being banned. (This rule will be enforced for all campers including Perms.)
• No electric heaters, grills, hotplates or air conditioners.
• No unnecessary driving in camp. Please remember the speed limit is 5 mph.
• Please control your pets. No barking dogs (note next item), no dogs off leashes in populated areas, no dogs at Rec Hall or pool, and no pets on community or cabin sites. Each owner must clean up after his pet.
• Please do not bring dogs and leave them alone at any site if they are prone to barking when left alone. It is important someone stay at the site to control any barking dog.
• Please do not leave fires unattended in areas where they may get out of control. Fire pits are located at all non-Perm sites. Also, do not leave candles unattended in areas that have the potential of causing a fire. Store combustibles away from fires and potential fire areas.
• Please do not waste hot water in bathrooms. Also, if you are the last person leaving the bathroom please turn off the lights.
• Please limit outside lighting to no more than 100 watts and turn off lights when you go to bed. No tube lighting is allowed! Because of the size of the campground and location, we are limited to the electric drain that can be handled by our transformers and wiring. To avoid blackouts please respect this important rule.
• Although Hillside is a clothing optional environment, no explicit sexual activities permitted in public areas including the pool and Rec Hall.
• Respect the rights of others. Your neighbors may not like the same music you do, thus do not play loud music at any time.
• Please do not litter.
• Please stay inside the loop when using the nature trails.
• No outside guests are allowed on the campgrounds without first registering at the office. This includes outside contractors, vendors, etc. If you have any problems (locked keys in vehicle, dead battery, etc.) please contact the office staff to solve your problem.
• No glass containers, pets or cameras in the pool area. Also, on weekends please do not use air mattresses in the pool. Radios are permitted only with earphones.
• Rinse off all oils before entering the pool. The pool closes at dark and in inclement weather.
• No illegal drugs will be tolerated anywhere on the campgrounds.
• Trash must be put out by noon Sundays to be picked up. Normally trash is picked up Saturday and Sunday afternoons. If you leave late Sunday please place trash in the dumpster outside gate.
• The office closes at 6 p.m. sharp on non-holiday weekend Sundays; please plan ahead for ice, wood, gas, etc.
• Notify the office of an injury or illness that needs medical attention.
• Entrance gate must be closed after entering and leaving camp.

DAY CAMPER RULES & INFO

Day campers must register at the office and park vehicles in the lot outside the front gate.

Day campers who wish to stay overnight on weekends must re-register before midnight. The office will close promptly at midnight. Weekend day campers who do not re-register must be off property by 2 a.m.

Day campers are responsible for following the above rules just like all campers.

The office opens each day at 10 a.m.

When in doubt please ask. We're here to help you.
