WHAT TO BRING CAMPING . . .

• Tent, stakes, ground cloth and/or cover tarp, rope
• Cooking and eating untensils
• Matches and/or lighter
• Lantern and/or flashlight
• Proper clothing (see below)
• Sleeping bag, pillow
• Air mattress
• Bug spray, depending on time of year
• Pad for pool lounges (they are made of wood)
• Camp stove, fuel
• Paper
• Vital medications
• Swimsuit (if you are shy)
• Ice chest
• Toiletries, soap and towels
• Lounge chair cushion(s) for pool lounges.
• Strong trash bags
• food
• beverages (BYOB -- note below)
• Download the camp's brochure (button at top of opening page) and read the rules before you arrive at camp. Or you can get a copy of the rules when you register.

CLOTHING -- When camping in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania you should be prepared for a variety of weather conditions. It can be hot during the day and cool during the night. The best advice is to be prepared.

BYOB -- Because of insurance and state regulations, Hillside Campgrounds asks that you bring your own beverages. Pennsylvania liquor stores and beer distributors are located in nearby towns.

ICE & WOOD -- Available at the office. There is also a store at the Rec Hall that has some items. The Hillside Cafe is open on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays mornings. On Holiday weekends the cafe is open Sundays. (Go to the cafe page for time and weekend specials.)
