HOW TO BECOME A PERM
A PERM IS A PERSON OR PERSONS who own a trailer or building at Hillside. This means the person pays a seasonal fee for each summer and does not have to make reservations in order to use his site at Hillside.
In order to become a Perm, one must first get his name on the Perm waiting list. That list is kept by Hillside owner Dave. Anyone interested in getting his name on the list may see Dave during the summer when camp is open. E-mails are not taken to be added to the Perm waiting list.
When a camper decides to no longer have a Perm site at Hillside he must speak to Dave. In some cases the site may be used by a new Perm or in some cases the Perm who is leaving must take the items he owns out of camp. In that case the site may be a normal rental site or may be made available to a Perm. This decision is made by the camp's owner. Please keep in mind that selling a site does not include the land. The land belongs to the Hillside owner and does not go with any camp site. It's possible for a trailer to remain on a site but it is up to the camp owner if that will be the case. This is handled case by case so make sure you speak to owner Dave before you purchase or sell a trailer or building since Dave will need to approve such changes.
In a few cases the site may not be available and the purchaser would be expected to remove the trailer and decking from the site and/or camp.
