Camp owner re-opens Houseboy search
HILLSIDE CAMPGROUNDS' OWNER is seeking a year-round, live-in houseboy. The candidate must be gay and reliable.
This is an excellent opportunity for a male between the ages of 18 and 36. A non-drinker is preferred.
A slim GWM between the heights of 5'4" to 5'11" is a plus. This doesn't mean men with other physical descriptions won't be considered, however height and weight are important.
This is a full-time position with summers at Hillside in Pennsylvania and some winter months in Florida. This is the perfect job for a serious person.
Once hired the houseboy will receive room, board, health insurance, weekly salary with other perks.
Hillside owner Dave is willing to teach the right houseboy but he must be willing to do the duties needed to keep the house in order. A driver license is a plus as are the other items listed on this page.
Interviews will be conducted by phone first then if a candidate seems to fit the job description he will be asked to visit camp for a one-on-one interview.
Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Gibson, PA, area. Only U.S. citizens are being considered for the job at this point.
Job duties will be discussed if you are chosen for an interview. The ideal candidate must be totally responsible.
Please be specific about any problems you see that may hinder you being able to meet the job requirements. In some cases these problems can be worked out.
A non-smoker and non-drinker is a plus. If the person does drink it must be for social reasons only and not something that the person must do daily or weekly.
This is not a job to work at Hillside Campgrounds although the home is located outside the camp's main gate. The right houseboy must be motivated and be able to work unsupervised. This is not a 9 to 5 job but does require daily attention to make sure the home environment is good for both the owner and the houseboy. Not pets, please, since the owner has a loving, well-behaved dog. Because of this it's not advisable to add another pet, although the owner loves pets.
